I’m still in Canada, whipping up some lovely workshops with some amazing people. The staff at Come As You Are has treated me like a rock star and I am very grateful to them. My favorite question from last night’s audience was… what makes you feel sexy? It really had me thinking. My answer? When people can see past what I do for a living and simply see me. I love it when a person can drop their preconceived notions of who I may be. When I don’t have to be an expert, or semi-well known “personality” or a fantasy girl… but just me.

Toronto is treating me so well! But I always feel so at home here. I love Come As You Are. I like the people. I love to roam the streets on my off time, taking photographs of graffiti. And Toronto has such great graffiti culture. Especially when compared to NYC. New York has become so policed and polished that great artists are reduced to scratching words of protest and nothing more. Which is why my New York images are primarily words these days. I’ll get some of these graffiti images up on my facebook… so y’all can soak up all this street art with me.

Last night while in the shop, I did snap a couple of pictures. Here are my three favorite toys that are currently on the shelf. But when I show up tonight, for my next workshop… I may have a whole new set of favorites - because I like sex toys too much!

I got the pleasure of training the staff at the Pleasure Chest in NYC last week. What a joy! The store is sleek and sexy. It’s also full of intelligent, sparkly staff members and beautiful, well curated products.

I was there to talk about Tantus products and how they are anatomically targeted to take you over the edge. (For example, the toys may look a little smaller, but that’s because people eyes are bigger than their bodies. Each toy design has been rigorously tested for response. Again and again users wanted them to be on the smaller side. Not to say that all Tantus toys are small. But many are.)

Anyway, I got this love note from the store manager. “Thank you for the wonderful in-services! The staff is pretty difficult to impress at times and they were very interested in what you had to say. They learned a lot and have all said they love your teaching style.”

Made my heart go pitter patter.
