Iconic Legs, Ass & Vacuum

It started in an empty office building near Union Square, NYC. The vacuum was not plugged in. I was not posing. I was just clearing the floor so we might have a set free of clutter.
The photographer was Mark Anthony Lacy. I was an East Village writer that was a sometimes muse for photographers and illustrators.
The photo was sent to Dian Hanson. Who I believe passed it on to Robert Crumb. Crumb likes a sturdy girl and went on to illustrate the photo. Which then appeared in Art & Beauty Magazine.
Early today I learned that it is now gracing the skin of some fine soul in the UK. Tattooed by Chelsea of Hello Sailor Tattoo Studio. Sounds like an awesome tattoo shop – with an all-female staff of artist.

Your Eyes Are Bigger Than Your Ass

I got the pleasure of training the staff at the Pleasure Chest in NYC last week. What a joy! The store is sleek and sexy. It’s also full of intelligent, sparkly staff members and beautiful, well curated products.
I was there to talk about Tantus products and how they are anatomically targeted to take you over the edge. (For example, the toys may look a little smaller, but that’s because people eyes are bigger than their bodies. Each toy design has been rigorously tested for response. Again and again users wanted them to be on the smaller side. Not to say that all Tantus toys are small. But many are.)
Anyway, I got this love note from the store manager. “Thank you for the wonderful in-services! The staff is pretty difficult to impress at times and they were very interested in what you had to say. They learned a lot and have all said they love your teaching style.”
Made my heart go pitter patter.
