Fact:

The medical/anatomical term for the genital organs is “pudendum.” A Latin word meaning “something to be ashamed of.”

Oh my. This may be a word assigned in the 1300s, but the medical world still has a lot of work to do when it comes to sexuality and health.

Two Vaginas

January 13, 2012 § 1 Comment

They estimate 1 in 3000 women have two vagainas? I’m a little stunned by that number. It’s an anomaly in how the uterus forms. And as a person who was born with a plethora of birth defect and is open about it… I can help but celebrate her! She’s awesome. Such a healthy attitude and amazing openness about the fact that she has two vaginas.

Do you swallow?

May 3, 2011 § 1 Comment

Studies show that about 20% of women do. (I have yet to find a study on male statistics.)

But now my real question after finding this book is: What do you swallow!?!

Awesome book about human behavior and curious catastrophes.
